Meet the family behind Hoodoo Consulting, LLC

Jennifer Perez is a Partner of Hoodoo Consulting, LLC. She has many years of experience in quality assurance, process safety, and operational compliance across the energy and federal sectors. Her background includes leading quality programs, facilitating PHAs, managing MOC and PSSR processes, and supporting organizations through complex regulatory requirements.

Before co-founding Hoodoo Consulting, Jennifer worked as a Quality Integration Engineering Specialist, supporting rigorous quality programs within highly regulated environments. Prior to that, she spent nearly fifteen years in oil and gas refining advancing through multiple process safety roles, ultimately serving in a leadership position overseeing process safety activities. In this capacity, she managed sitewide PSM initiatives, led PHAs, supported audits, and partnered with leadership teams to strengthen safety culture and operational performance.

Earlier in her career, she held various roles with responsibilities that included coordinating MOC and PHA programs, supporting OSHA and corporate audits, and developing training materials on safety and PSM topics. She also gained hands-on business experience as a long-time small business owner.

Jennifer is a long-time resident of Dumas, Texas. She is the mother of four and the grandmother of two. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and staying involved in her community.
